Every year our Tasmanian mountains are covered in snow, but once every 4- 6 years it actually snows to sea level. These are days of great excitement and exuberant joy as schools close, and no one can make it to work.. and for some they are house bound for up to a week. This painting is about the sweetness of breathing in crisp snow cleaned air. Some of my favourite Winter things, like a pair of forest ravens, warm plaid coats, woolly socks and gum boots, all perfectly comfortable for walking through thick fallen snow. A snow day is a gift, a lovely surprise that lets you stay unexpectedly at home. An unsolicited gift from the skies bestowing freedom to do as you please.

This is a limited edition print made onto rich heavy and textured cotton rag paper ( limited to 100)

Large measures 13" x 19" (A3Plus) and Small measures 8.27" x 11.29" (A4). Each print is made from a high resolution image of the original painting and the image is as large as will fit comfortably with a border for framing.

We provide free postage within Australia and New Zealand. We always endeavour to use 100% post consumer waste recycled paper, vegetable cellephane and cardboard in our packaging.
