Pony - limited edition

from A$36.00

Growing up on a farm I galloped my horse through hills covered in apple orchards on Uncle Harold’s farm. The horse would try to wipe me off on the branches so laughing and swearing I had to ride gypsy style, either down on the side or laying flat back facing the sky. We would both snatch apples from the trees to eat in reckless abandon.

I love to imagine riding in a world without fences, like in the olden days… riding up through the mountain pass to a split timber shack with a pot bellied stove and candles in the window. In this painting cool rains sweep across the pines before they brush against her hands and cheeks. It is time to light the fire to chase away the dark. There is a bed for the pony underneath the old row of pines that stand black against the sky. There is so much joy in out daily homecomings… a little light and heat in the darkness. How good it is to sit on the porch and watch the sky darken as the sun dips down behind the curve of the earth. These gifts are given to us each day… such an abundance of beauty for which to be grateful.

This is a limited edition print made onto rich heavy and textured cotton rag paper ( limited to 100)

Large measures 13" x 19" (A3Plus) and Small measures 8.27" x 11.29" (A4). Each print is made from a high resolution image of the original painting and the image is as large as will fit comfortably with a border for framing.

We provide free postage within Australia and New Zealand. We always endeavour to use 100% post consumer waste recycled paper, vegetable cellophane and cardboard in our packaging.
